Hi, this is Adrian. Welcome to In Case of Emergency Press Play. Today's meditation is all about creating space for courage, not the kind of courage that never feels afraid, but the quiet courage that takes one more breath, one more step, one more chance. Even when you don't know how exactly things will turn out. So when you need to do something hard, press play. Welcome to your practice. Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position. Allow the ground beneath you to support the weight of your body. There is nowhere else to be right now. Nothing to fix. Nothing to figure out. Just this breath. Just this moment. Slowly breathe in through your nose. And gently exhale through your mouth. Again. Breathe in through your nose. And slowly exhale through your mouth. Allow your breath to settle into a smooth and natural rhythm. And as your body softens, allow your attention to arrive fully here in this moment. Take a slow breath in. And a long exhale out. Bring to mind the thing that you're facing. Maybe it's a conversation, a decision, a change. Or maybe it's a step that you've been avoiding. Notice what happens in your body now. Maybe you have some doubts or fear or a little uncertainty. Take another breath. Courage is often misunderstood. We think courage means feeling fearless, but courage rarely feels that way. Most of the time, courage feels like shaky hands, a racing heart, a deep breath, and doing it anyway. Notice your breath. Notice that you're here. You have survived difficult things before. You don't need to have all the answers. You don't need complete confidence. You only need willingness. One step, one action, one conversation, or one choice. Take a slow breath in and exhale everything completely. Allow your courage to be small if it needs to be. Small courage still counts. The next step still matters. You have done hard things. Not all at once. Just one thing at a time. Take one final breath in and release everything else out. From my heart to yours. Wherever you are right now, breathe. Loosen your grip a little. Be bold. Listen, and be impeccable with your words. Do meaningful work and leave things better than you found them. Because we didn't plan for this. But we're here. And for now, that's enough.
